EVENT INFORMATION
WHAT:
- 13th Annual Rubber Duck Derby to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of
Hall County. The Rubber Duck Derby is the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hall County’s largest
fundraiser. Every dollar raised goes to support the life-changing programs and services
provided for young people that other youth agencies fail to reach.
- Rubber Duck Derby Race – it’s the “must see" event
when 17,000 rubber ducks, sporting fashionable sunglasses, will be cast into Lake Lanier.
These rubber ducks, which have been adopted by supporters of the fundraiser, will then race
toward the finish line, to win great prizes for their adoptive parents. Kayakers and canoers
will be on hand to corral errant ducks and “resuscitate” those in need.
Hall County Sheriff’s Office representatives will monitor the race. Official race
CPAs will certify the results.
- V.I.D. (Very Important Duck) Corporate Race – V.I.D. sponsors ($250)
receive entry into the corporate race and an invitation to the V.I.D. Corporate Sponsor Party
on race day.
- Duck Fest - expanded festival atmosphere with vendors,
arts & crafts, jewelry, pottery, kids’ nest, entertainment, food,
